Application Notes
For measuring thermal neutrons, the counter tube should be wrapped in a cadmium foil of about 0.5 mm thickness. A Neher-Harper quenching circuit must be used with an amplifier sensitivity of about 0.1 V and a resolving time < 5 usec.
