- High transconductance (10,000 µmhos)
- High power sensitivity
- Internal diodes for detector application
Typical Operation
| Mode | Plate V | Gm (µmhos) | Rp (Ω) | µ | Plate mA |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Class A1 Amplifier (180V) | 180 V | 8000 | 130000 | — | 20 mA |
| Class A1 Amplifier (250V) | 250 V | 10000 | 100000 | — | 38 mA |
Application Notes
The high transconductance makes the use of negative feedback highly effective. A grid stopper of 5,000 ohms is recommended to suppress parasitic oscillations. Diode on pin 6 is recommended for detection due to lower capacitance to pentode plate.
