Application Notes
The 2A3 is a power amplifier for use in the power-output stage of AC receivers. In push-pull operation, it is desirable to provide means for adjusting bias independently for each tube to maintain balance due to high transconductance. For horizontal operation, the socket should be positioned with filament-pin openings one vertically above the other.
