Application Notes
It is essential that the cathode reach operating temperature (1 minute) before anode current flows. A resistance of at least 1,000 ohms should be in the grid circuit. In DC circuits, the anode current can only be stopped by breaking the circuit or removing anode voltage for 10-1000 microseconds.
