Typical Operation
| Mode | Plate V | Gm (µmhos) | Rp (Ω) | µ | Plate mA |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pentode Operation (185V) | 185 V | 7900 | — | — | 29 mA |
| Pentode Operation (200V) | 200 V | 7900 | — | — | 32 mA |
| Pentode Operation (240V) | 240 V | 7900 | — | — | 43 mA |
Application Notes
The valve must always be self-biased. Grid to cathode circuit resistance should not exceed 1 megohm. A delay voltage of approximately 15V is recommended for AVC circuits. The diode connected to pin No. 3 should be used for AVC bias.
