Application Notes
The 83 is intended for supplying large amounts of d-c power to receivers. It can be operated as a half-wave rectifier with plates connected in parallel. For parallel operation, a resistor of not less than 30 ohms (100 ohms if load < 75%) should be connected in series with each plate.
