Application Notes
Due to the high peak inverse voltage of the DY 30 soft X-rays may be produced. A simple shielding of the valve may be required for this reason. When the filament is to be operated on R.F., the filament voltage can be adjusted to 1.25 V by comparison of the filament colour with that of a valve operated from a D.C. or an L.F. A.C. voltage supply.
