Application Notes
Filament is essentially instantaneous in heating. May be used at full ratings to 100 megacycles. When series connected, the low section of the filament should be shunted by a resistor to by-pass cathode current. In VHF circuits, it may be desirable to by-pass filament center taps to provide lowest effective cathode inductance.
