Key Features
- Medium-mu twin triode
- Cascode amplifier application
- Internal shielding
- High transconductance
Typical Operation
| Mode | Plate V | Gm (µmhos) | Rp (Ω) | µ | Plate mA |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Class A Amplifier (Section 1) | 100 V | 6100 | 6100 | 37 | 9 mA |
| Class A Amplifier (Section 2) | 150 V | 8300 | 4700 | 40 | 18 mA |
Application Notes
Shielding between sections minimizes internal capacity coupling. When operated as a cascode amplifier and the two sections are connected in series, the heater-cathode voltage of the grounded grid stage may be as high as 250 volts maximum with the heater negative with respect to the cathode.
