Application Notes
For low frequency circuits, the heater must be switched on for 1 minute before the high tension supply is applied to the anode, unless the peak inverse voltage is limited to 12 KV. At frequencies above 50 Kc/s, with output voltages greater than 8 KV, the anode lead must be surrounded by a corona cap.
