Application Notes
To safeguard the valve from large current surges, the maximum capacity of the smoothing condenser when no resistance is included is 8uF. When reservoir capacity is 16uF, a resistance of 50 ohms should be used in series. At 110V operation, up to 32uF may be used without series resistance.
