Application Notes
Cathode must be allowed 30 seconds to reach operating temperature before anode current flows. Peak current must not exceed 0.6A. Avoid large voltage difference between heater and cathode. Floating heater circuit causes irregularity. A resistance of at least 1,000 ohms should be included in the grid circuit; total grid circuit impedance should be below 100,000 ohms.
