Application Notes
The 80 is a full-wave rectifying tube intended for use in d-c power-supply devices. It can be mounted vertically, or horizontally if the filament-pin openings are positioned at the top or bottom to keep the filament-plane vertical. Provision should be made for free air circulation as the bulb becomes quite hot.
