Application Notes
The 7F8 is designed for use as a grounded-grid radio-frequency amplifier or as a frequency converter at frequencies up to 300 megacycles. Cathode-bias resistor for typical operation is 500 Ohms. D-C resistance in the grid circuit should not exceed 0.5 megohm.
