Application Notes
The KY21A must be mounted vertically, base down. Adjacent filament pins are connected in parallel within the base to carry the 10-ampere current. Condensed-mercury temperature should be maintained at 40° +/- 5°C. A minimum filament warmup of 30 seconds is required before applying plate voltage.
