Typical Operation
| Mode | Plate V | Gm (µmhos) | Rp (Ω) | µ | Plate mA |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Class C Telegraphy (CCS) | 1000 V | — | — | 18 | 50 mA |
| Class C Telephony (Plate-Modulated ICAS) | 800 V | — | — | 18 | 40 mA |
| Grid-Modulated R-F Power Amplifier | 1000 V | — | — | — |
Application Notes
The tube can be operated at maximum ratings up to 500 MHz and at reduced ratings up to 600 MHz. Push-pull operation is recommended for ultra-high frequencies to simplify balancing circuits. Forced-air cooling allows for higher dissipation ratings.
