Key Features
- Low cross modulation
- Low harmonic response
- Reduced inter-reaction between input and oscillator
- High conversion conductance
Typical Operation
| Mode | Plate V | Gm (µmhos) | Rp (Ω) | µ | Plate mA |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Heptode | 250 V | 870 | 1200000 | — | 3.8 mA |
| Triode | 80 V | 5300 | — | 16 | 4.5 mA |
Application Notes
The triode oscillator should be used with a parafeed tuned anode circuit. If squegging occurs, grid leak resistance may be reduced to 25,000 ohms. A peak heterodyne voltage of 9 to 10 volts is required.
