Typical Operation
| Mode | Plate V | Gm (µmhos) | Rp (Ω) | µ | Plate mA |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| R.F. Power Amplifier (Class C Telegraphy) | 4000 V | 4500 | — | 28 | 535 mA |
| R.F. Power Amplifier (Class C Anode Modulation) | 3000 V | 4500 | — | 28 | 450 mA |
| A.F. Class B Amplifier (2 valves) | 4000 V | 4500 | — | 28 |
Application Notes
To ensure equal distribution of the currents through the seals the grid leads should be strapped together at the valve holder and the circuit connections joined to the midpoint of the strap. Above 50 Mc/s, a low velocity flow of air may be required on the anode seal and base.
